In 2018, we would like to take Emi on a proper summer holiday! And so, without being cheeky, we are not asking for any wedding gifts but a monetary donation to the cause.

So why Shottle Hall? After looking at several venues in Cheshire, it became clear from an early stage that Cheshire was out of our budget, so we jumped across the border into Derbyshire! Shottle Hall can be found just off the main Ashbourne to Belper road (A517), just over an hours’ drive from Crewe and 30 minutes from Derby. We have the hall to ourselves, all day and all night, making it the perfect venue for the kids to run around in complete safety.

From Ashbourne take the A517 towards Belper. After approx. 8 miles, turn left at the traffic lights (The Railway Inn is on the corner) onto the B5023 towards Wirksworth. After approx. Half a mile, turn right onto White Lane. Shottle Hall is about 80 yards down this lane, on the left.

From Belper, take the A6 out of the town. At Belper North Mill traffic lights, turn left onto the A517 towards Ashbourne. After approx. 3 miles, turn right at the traffic lights (The Railway Inn is on the corner) onto the B5023 towards Wirksworth. After approx. Half a mile, turn right onto White Lane. Shottle Hall is about 80 yards down this lane, on the left.

From 7.30PM, the hall will be turned into a DISCO! We’ve hired a great DJ and would love you to get involved in what he plays on the night.
